Breeder FAQs

  1. Hosts are responsible for meals/snacks for the judge while at the revision site and during their stay. This is not covered by USLA.
  2. The costs related to the judge are charged to owners on a pro-rated bases.
  3. USLA does not collect the monies for the horses attending the location or the collection of the split charges. This is the responsibility of the host.
  4. USLA makes all the hotel and flight arrangements for the revision location to ensure a smooth transition from location to location. The host is responsible for the payment in full to USLA for the arrangements made to their location via credit card. A credit card authorization, copy of the credit card and identification must be provided for payment.

Breeders may choose to participate in an inspection event with several breeders or host a solo inspection arranged by USLA. When participating in an inspection event, the judge fees and expenses will be divided amongst the breeders and prorated depending on the number of horses per breeder. If the breeder chooses to host a solo inspection, they will be responsible for all of the judge fees and expenses. Dates for inspections are communicated through USLA newsletters, on the website and on the Facebook events page.
